Can anyone suggest the best way to fit the fresh air ducting pipe that connects the heater to the air box inside the o/s wing?
I can't get it to slot over the heater section - the ruddy clutch and steering column are in the way. Anyone else had problems fitting this?

Yeah its so dam fiddily. I tried warming the plastic with a hair dryer and that made it more pliable but still no joy. Ah well, there's more important jobs for me to be getting on with. Makes you wonder how they fitted them at the factory!

I've been looking at this and thought about moving it to the otherside of the car. You would have to block the vent on the drivers side inner wing and i reckon the same said pipe would fit nicely over the other side of the heater. It makes you wonder if they were designed for left hand drive cars doesn't it as it is a compromise with this area of the car.

Would mean a small amount of body work though and manufacturing a sleeve for the pipe to fit over but could be done. Maybe use a repair panel and chop it up if there is one.
