im building up a new miglia engine thats all kitted out.
but with the clutch im going to run pre verto and wanted to know ALL the components in them, basic descripton of what they do and where about they go. and what people chose when they are building a engine with serious power??

or has anyone got any usefull links

also ive got a fast road rally orange diaphram and looking into sutiable other parts that will work with it, e.g. lightened flywheel, fast road rally clutch

your basic setup consists of longer release arm or plunger arm,pre verto release bearing, diaphram such like what you mentioned,clutch plate,pre verto flywheel and backplate. i love pre verto clutches and am running one on my 1380 supercharged motor just personal preference to me. just that you can lighten it more than a verto setup and that the feel of the clutch feels more positive and responsive but thats just me.

what about all the bearings and location keys and the washers and whever is in it. what set up are you running??

I do belive the verto clutch was designed by the french explains why its not so good

Note being funny but what do you mean by a miglia engine... it's almost a given that a verto clutch would be totally inappropriate for a "Miglia" spec engine...

There's an FAQ on Flywheels which I believe has a diagram in it..

on minispares i saw a release bearing thrust bearing and someting called keyway lock or something it goes near the flywheel i thinks

haha nice one.as far as im aware there is online 1 bearing which is the release bearing and locating things i can think off is the primary retaining c washers.. oh also the bolt and lcoktab is diferent on verto to pre verto.

engine was a from a migla and been rebuilt by OAP
but thats not what i asked!!
wanted to know about a clutch not questioned about what im doing!!

i know there are flywheel straps but anyone got a clue what a lockway key is??

ive heard that the pre verto is a better clutch then verto.
