I can supply wood grain effect vinyl - varying grades and quality, from £7.00 per metre, to £20.00 per metre

just boils down to how much you want to spend, and how good a quality of finish you want. :dozing:

the cheaper range is on the picture below. :dozing:

Is that right ? 450mm x 2 meters for £3:49 ?

Looks like a decent deal. Might have to have a couple of rolls of that
for tarting the house up !

Is there a particular reason you wish to use vinyl instead of wood veneer?

Simply because I cant find a nice suitable venner that is workable..I may have the wrong idea tho of what a veener is.....

I want to make the dash out of a simple MDF but cover it in a walnut finish..
I had some sicker like stuff you heated at stuck down that I cant get anymroe((see attachec its around the gauges))

I was just curious.

If you're planning on fitting a laminate to surfaces with compound curves then vinyl will certainly be easier. Be sure to post pictures of your dash when the project is completed.

For Dashboard application,I think you can take a try a method of"water transfer".

Unfortunately,we do another "heat transfer foil or hot stamping foil".

I did this with my old water damaged dashboard. I went to a local vinyl sign maker who found a suitable walnut design on the internet and downloaded it and printed it off. It looks fine and is a cheap fix until such time that I decide to replace with an original one in good condition.
