Hi guys
I found an engine that could be interesting.
Can you give me some opinions and ideas?

Its a Riley engine with the number:

12h/199/6370

can you help?

If it's from a Riley 1300 - then it should have the larger inlet valves - but just a standard camshaft, and of course ran with twin 1.25" HS2s in that car. Will be quite 'long in the tooth' now! If an a box - it will have the remote control with the rubber sandwich mount - not the best - although a DIY metal mount can be fitted in place of the rubber.

Mini Mania in the US produce an adaptor to fit a Mini remote housing to the 1300 style box I believe.

it has the double 1.25 su's.
it comes with the subframe and brakes.
Do they fit a Mini?
how many bhps does it have?

If they are the Riley 1300 subframe and brakes - NO! 65 or 70 bhp I believe?

are this engines any good?
I heard 70bhp...
should i replace the carbs for one hif44 ?
