i have a A series short engine which is standard bore and in good condition. I have no use for it it but don't know what it's worth but do believe they are getting a bit thin on the ground these days. Any indication would be great....

what ever you can get.... only A series block which command any sort of value are Cooper S ones...

It's a 1275cc. Someone told me the some historic racing requires the use of a A block and not a A+. Doesn't sound true to me...

F'me who in their right mind would be paying more than £20 for that block let alone £250....
If that's a for real auction, then I have 4 or 5 GT blocks hanging about which will be on there.... and in a LOT better condition...

I found it somewhat strange myself. Give it a go John. List a block. You never know you could be sitting on a little goldmine!
