It's about time I made a thread as in the next few months, I will be doing quite alot to it. For now I will just show you what I have done to it from buying it...
Brought it in april and it looked like this
Posted Image
Posted Image

Looked better in the pictures to be honest however it's was solid

I had it a few weeks and fitted some spotlights

Posted Image

Then some :( crashed into it, thankfully I can't find any pictures but it got fixed and months later I got it back on my drive

Posted Image

Spent alot of time fixing the bodges that the prev owner made
took the boy racer centre exit off it
Posted Image
and put on

Posted Image

a cheap 1.75 side exit which is alot more subtle sound wise + looks and also put on standard lenses so people can see me from behind at night.

took it to get tuned on a rolling road as it was running lumpy

Spec of the engine was standard MG metro
I impulse bidded on a new head and won
modded cooper S head
Posted Image
Posted Image

Saxo-Fiesta-mini fitted it for me and it went like a stink :(

I fitted these last week, changed the head gasket too

Posted Image

and now I have brought a few new bits

Posted Image
Posted Image
another cooper S head but with rimflow vavles and some better porting
Still going to mod it further though before I fit it
Posted Image
and a leccy dissy to replace my dodgy 45d I think it is

So that's where I'm up to currently....
next jobs are

Fix the steering
Fix the drums, new shoes
new pads
fit LCB manifold

then look at getting the work done to my new head
Fit the ram pipe I've got waiting to go on
fit the cam when I find out how haha

got plenty of plans for it however I change my mind all the time so I wont bother listing them I will post as I go along...
I'm worried my bottom end wont be able to handle it though, I'm looking into the bottom end side of things
There's a lot more that's been done but I wont make you even more bored

Feel free to suggest anything, I'm still new to minis really, a few months ago I didn't know how to change a spark plug or what a dissy was but from learning on here and from SFM, I'm making decent progress knowlage wise, I fitted the new rockers which requires a head gasket change and setting the valve clearances etc etc

Lol nice one, it sounds all to familiar i never have money for fuel always spend it on shiney stuff, the 266 cam should do the job fine with the 1.5-1 rockers.

well my plan was if it was too lumpy with 1.5.1 rockers and 276 to just take off the rockers but it should be about right

Looks like a nice little Mini :o

thanks :)
