hello all
i was just wondering if any of you guys knew of any good body places in or around the birmingham area that can sort out some rust holes for me, ive got about 5 major rust problems everything after that is just surface, also if at all possible cheap as im kinda on a finite budget but i figure if nessicary i can get the worst ones done and get the others done overtime, ill try and take some pictures tomarrow.

+1 on Shifty, he's a good dude and does TOP notch work. The man knows his way around metal! Check out some of his build threads! He brought Spudnik back from the depths, no easy feat when you see what he originally looked like!

o yeah ive seen him around here before, i think ill get in touch soon, im not lookin to do it just yet as im tryin to get the spring conversion done first, the trouble is these are real *illegitimate person* places for it to go! ive got 2 rather large bubbly areas just under the lamps, in the corners of every window bar the rear screen, one on the dash just next to the airvent, thats litterally just a big hole, one above the rear bumber on the driver side, and then a new one i just found to add to the collection, just where the floorpan meets the bulkhead right under my feet......atleast it explains where all the water was comming from tho.

just heared about shifty's waiting list lol i might have to look else where, because im gonna have to get it done before mot time even if i dont do it right away. i might still get in touch tho

old skool minis in perry barr, thats north birmingham, they do all the work on my car!

yeah they were the first ones i thought about, just went today to try and get a quote but i got lost lol. what work have you had done if you dont mind me asking? also would you know a ballpark figure of how much it cost?

they've done everything on my car from changing windscreen seals, to fitting a stage 1 kit.
they also rebuilt half of my front end after a small "bump"!

if you use google maps their on the holford industrial estate (just use holford drive when searching) its right next to the tip!
