Not sure if this is in the correct section, but please move it if not. I also hope it isn’t going to cause offence. I’m just looking for feed-back.

You will see I’m new to the forum, but I’m trying to see what comments people have for my bespoke car themed furniture (web link below). As a complete car-nut I’m looking into the possibility of starting new business doing something I will enjoy, and that is producing hand-made bespoke pieces of car-furniture for other car enthusiasts. The website has pictures of the few examples I’ve already done (no mini yet!), but I want to expand my portfolio.

www.car-furniture.co.uk

Please feel free to let me have your feed-back as I need to add to my portfolio, and your comments may help guide me.

Thanks,
Lee

Like the Top Gear set furniture? I'm sure you'll find a market, if Clarkson can do it I'm sure you can.

Thanks for the encouragement, I appreciate it. I dare say it won't make me a millionaire, but I'll enjoy it and you never know where it might lead.

thanks again,
Lee

yer best of luck, however, say if i wanted a coffie table made from a mini wheel i think i could make my own without too much effort. as the mini rusts like hell many of the owners are very handy with a welder and are quite hands on.

however, ive seen some front ends turned into arm chairs, rear ends into bbq's ect ect ect. i think thses could sell quite well. just dont start chopping up perfectly good minis, because if anyone found out you cut up a usable mini, no one would buy it lol

If we are talking about the hand made furniture, the best perspective to deal with it is through our creativity and imagination. However, in this car-furniture, there are lots of restrictions to consider, first it is manly and wives of course do not want that. But, if you are creative enough I am sure you can make something extra-ordinary. Good luck. Patio Furniture
