You need to find out what is actually causing the fault. Does it happen every time you use the indicators? Regardless of what else is on or off?

I've had a quick look at a wiring diagram and as standard fuse 10 is supposed to only run the radio memory. Fuse 9 is supposed to be the radio supply. The problem is that many modern radios use what would normally be thought of as the memory supply, that is to say their permanant supply, as their main source of power and just use the ignition supply as a trigger to turn on and off. Can the radio be turned on without turning the ignition on?

Leave the radio unplugged for a day then and see if everything else works properly.
i'l try that but its as soon as i indicate the fuse goes
its gonna be a long drive home tomorow!!! 100 miles and no radio!!
no the ignition needs to be on for the radio
