For the year or so I've been running this car it has had a broken off grease nipple on the drivers side radius arm. I'm chuffed that with a little effort I've managed to get the broken off part out and am now off to try and get a replacement. I seem to have got away with it as there's no apparent play in the radius arm, but when i put the new one how much grease should I put in? Just keep pumping away? oo er missus!
Pump away till it oozes back out! oooooo matron!!

The guy has hardly driven it all year and so as a result has not seen th need to grease the rear radius arms, the only times he drove it were to and fro from work to keep the baterry charged and keep the engine ticking, I had to drive it 200 miles to get it home and there eas no play, it tracked straight and true, do you think the radius arms ore ok?

How does one point people in the direction of hard to find bits without mentioning names, or is it just not allowed.?
I've seen rolling roads recomended on here so what's the difference?

He's saying the type of link you used won't work when clicked, because of the type web application their site uses.

Hi there If the grease tube within the radius arm is fractured you can end up filling the whole radius arm up with grease, I have one on my car like this and i pump away for ever before i see grease come out of the bearing ends.
Which isn't a bad thing because an arm full of fresh grease is far better than an arm holding dirty water, as I found out when I greased the rear radius arms on a relatives 98 Mini Paul Smith LE a good few years ago. Because dirty water sprayed out before any grease made an appearance and we went through a few tubes I can tell you.
Once it's all greased up nicely, it won't need so much on future greasing.
