but once you've used a 'comic' voice and actually tried going anywhere..... you'll soon be switching it back to Left Right...

im after funny voices like celebritys or other funny things like cockney voices, i know theres a well known brand that does it
might it be tomtom?
i have a LOAD of voices for my tomtom its currently set to one that is somewhat urmm kinky

i did find a website where you could download them but can't remember the name now

can download them on tom tom's got a yorkshire *woman of ill repute* and voice as mine atm lol

is it any of the tom toms that you can do this with or is it only certain models?
well mine is tom tom software on my mobile phone
i might be able to transfer the files onto computer and send you them, no idea if it would work though or how big the files are

Unless you have a cracked TomTom you can't use genuine TomTom maps or voices or any files that have been sold to someone else. Each copy of every file on your TomTom is coded to only work on your device or your copy of the TomTom programme.
Genuine voices, comedy or not, are fine for navigating. TomTom make sure that the instructions are always clear and concise, even if it is a comedy voice. The non-genuine after-market voices are the ones that are a pain to actually try and use, although they are amusing.
TomTom's software package for the computer is TomTom Home and that is what governs the synching of your device and is where you control what you install on it and how often you update it and everything. TomTom Home is awful, it's some of the worst software ever written and dealing with TomTom as a company is a terrible experience. They do make a very good navigator but everything else about them is a joke.
The only down side I have found to TomTom as a navigator is that it doesn't understand south London.
