Hello All,

My first post on what looks to be a great site. I'm 35 living in South Wales and this weekend will see me pick up this new project. Bought unseen and probably full of suprises.

This is my first proper mini project and will have to fit in with kids, work and mortgage payments etc so it's going to take a while. I'm hoping the wealth of knowledge available here is going to help me with the low points  never welded before so I'm guessing its going to be a steep learning curve.

Daily driver is an Audi A4 Avant and the wife drives one of those large, german, ahem....minis, of the 's' variety....

Any tips, comments and advice welcome :wales:

Cheers

Well, I'll be honest.... NO!! But I know a man who can! :cheese:

Any tips on mini clubs in the area?

I'm a member of Cardiff Mini Club who meet the first friday of the month in a pub just off J32.
The Dragon Mini Club are also Cardiff based and they too meet on the first friday of the month!!
M4 minis are a web based club www.m4minis.co.uk and are based Newport way.

..... I'll go and do some investigating and see if there's any clubs in Bridgend!
