    Starting My Mini Up

Hello all,

I think this is probably the best to ask this question and I'd really appreciate any help you could give.

Sadly, the time has come for my girlfriend to part with her Mini. It's a 1994, Mini 35 in diamond white with just over 50k miles on the clock. Condition wise, it's very good. There are a couple of small areas of rust, I've attached a photo of the worst to give you an idea, but really overall it's very good. It's used on a regular basis, mainly for short journeys and starts first time every time. Even recently in the snow it carried on running, no problem whatsoever.

Everything is orginal on it and it's been well cared for over the years. About a year ago it got a full service from a good reliable friend, he seemed to be of the opinion it's a good example.

Much as my girlfriend loved her car, for various reasons she now needs something a little more spacious and practical so she's about to put it up for sale. Problem is, we're not really sure what it's worth. Looking online Mini 35s seem to go for anything between £1k and £8k! We don't really just want to put it on ebay and see where it ends up, we'd much rather it went to someone who fully appreciates the car - particularly as there don't seem to be many of them around these days.

So, any idea what it might be worth?

Thanks very much,
Martin

honestly i would say something around the £1500 mark with a decent length mot ticket

the good thing is they are still carb engined so that will appeal

Looking at it from the 'trade' point of view, I see a number of problems, o/s scuttle, n/s wing, both doors

Getting 'shot' of it on ebay may be the best option...
