I am about to replace the primary oil seal on my MPi and checked out the Haynes manual to make sure I had everything I needed. It stated that the following Rover special tools would be required. Does anyone know where to get them from. They are 18G 1068B and 18G 1043.

Thanks

Martin.

Hi Pauly,

Have got a link for the special tool, so I can see what it looks like. I'll be needing one soon.

Cheers

The ones mini spares sell arent the original tools, they are a close approximation.

The only place to find them these days is Ebay, i've been looking for an original primary gear tool for the last 4 years.

I do not know if you are still looking but I might have what you're after. Part 18G 1068B.
