Really depends on wheels offset and brakes/spacer.
Most 5" width fit standard arches, althou i've seen some 6" fit with massive negative camber..

i've got standard 5" wheels atm, and they fit under arches, but i want them banded, so they stick out from the arch and have a dish to them.

i rekon it would look rather nice  lol

Many peeps think fitting fat wheels improves handling, while they may look good in some peeps eyes they aquaplane easier, knock out wheel bearings quicker and slow you down due to dragging extra rubber around. All the rally winning carsin the 60s used 4 1/2 j cooper wheels for a reason.

How about just find some wheels that you like, and if they don't stick out enough, just fit wheel spacers? Not the most ideal situation as it does wear your bearings much faster... but it would solve your query!

Any wheel with an offest of more than 5 inches will stick out past the standard plastic wheel arches.

spacers mean chaning the stud's and etc, more work lol.
and i like banded steelies, look rather nice.

so say 12/6 wheels will stick out?
