basically i took off the dash, clocks and switches ect. after fittting the clocks the indicators
rocker switches cleaned them i broke the hazard switch. if i dont have the hazard switch fitted will this make the indicators fail. is there anyway to override this i need the car working by Wednesday.

Yes the hazard switch is part of the indicator circuit. How broken is the switch? It might work if you just plug it back in as long as you don't need it to do any switching. To bypass it, create a jumper wire from suitably sized cable and use it to short the two terminals that are arranged as a pair at one end of the switch connector housing. I think the wires are green/brown from memory. Remember that your car is not roadworthy without hazard lights though.

i took it apart to clean it and lost the little spring/copper plate inside.

im taking it to mini sport on Thursday morning for a rolling road session, no way will i get a hazard switch by then so im thinking of bypassing this so i can still use the indicators and get a new switch when im there. i haven't found any in any of the shops around here

No you won't find them in many motor factors. For now just bypass it as above and as you say, buy a switch at Mini Sport.
