I have a Rover mini Italian Job 1992, my heater only when when turned on makes a loud clanging/squeeking noise, think its the bearing in the fan but not sure as Im not technically minded. was wondering if anyone had any clues as to what it may be and if so how to fix it?

Wold be a massive help and would bring back some silence to my car...

if i was you id take the heater out of the car. strip it apart and have a look. could be full of leaves or maybe a nut has fallen in it

did you find a solution to this problem? mine has recently started making a really loud noise and i noticed it was leaking water at the back
