I recently got a mini to strip down for parts, and presumed the shell was totally rotten, so this guy sed rite i'll take it for £50. i sed why not. (this was a good few months ago)

but anyway...i got this shell, eventually, and it was totally solid apart from a bash at the front. immaculate condition behind the A-panels, so i sed i wanted to keep it. He obviously wasnt happy with this, so he decided to start throwing abuse at me, and i mean like seriously, not just little criticisms. though i think it annoyed him more that i wasnt rising to it.

now my brother just got arrested by this guys colleagues for ''breach of the telecomunications act 2003'' (his ex reported him for verbal abuse via msn), just a tad hypocritical in my opinon.

also, he gave me a lift to IMM as he needed sum1 to split the fuel cost with. on the way back (after i replaced his gasket and tuned it up for him) he was drivin like a complete **! 90 down 60's, flying onto roundabouts and swinging the back out. then he dropped me off and sed ''no1 hears about that'' with a grin on his face.

till now i've respected that but he's just totally hacked me off.

i'm not going to put his career on the line for it, but it's a bloody joke IMO.

grrrr...rant over!

Well the shell is yours to do what you like with not his. Some people do get nasty to try and get what they want.Hope he is happy with his daft driving getting his own back. Your brother should be ok about the web rows with his ex. We can all have a daft row.

I very much doubt there's any connection. If someone makes a complaint the police are obliged to follow it up and the chances your Mini fan of a copper was involved are about nil. If he was, it'd damage his career if he didn't declare he knew the accused.

he didnt know the accused. it wasnt him that arrested him either. but thats not the point...he's supposed to be protecting prople from idiots that cause distuption and breach of the peace. (or so they tell us all anyway), and he is the one doing the damage.

i agree we all have our bad moments, but when i said to him i dont think i deserve to be spoken to like that, under any circumstances, his response was along the lines of ''well i ** do you silly little **! a deal is a deal end of!''

so i then said well i'm sorry but i'd have to be totally out my mind to sell you a mint cooper shell with a wee dent for £50! and it's not like theres a lack of cheap mini shells about. unfortunately there is a lack of people you can ''haggle'' with by giving the dogs abuse.

to which he replied ''well i aint ** appologising, and thats not the point, i dont even ** want your one now!''

but the way i see it is, he's made himself look reallly tiny in my eyes for not appologising.

i ended up just blocking him

Love what you said to him. That did the job.
