I like the look of de-bumpered minis, but i also like the look of bumpers on some minis. To me it's all down to what car it is, some minis i see i don't like the look of with the bumpers and think it would look a lot better without them. and same way round. But then i see some that have been de-bumpered and i really like them and it looks so much better than with them. Again, same way round. So to me it's all about what car it is.

Generally i don't like the de-bumpered look. There are some Minis i've seen that carry off the look well, but overall i feel it removes the classic, iconic look.

It's your choice, but personally i wouldn't. Maroon paint and chromework go so well on Minis. If i had the choice i'd probably respray mine the colour of yours >_<

It comes down to personal preference IMO - and like skaterava said, some don't suit it IMO either.

lots of hasle, looses originality, doesnt look like a mini should and you can buy stainless bumpers for £35, they are stronger too ruining a perfectly good shell... Minis with bumpers FTW :tumble:

It's a matter of opinion that's all :withstupid:

I think it looks good on some Minis and not on others. Also if you're going to do it properly remove the little lip right at the bottom!

Again my opinion!

Anyone seen a mini with 1/4 bumpers and a centred (normal) number plate, sort of like the old Mk1 Escorts. As I was wondering if that would work, although it wouldn't be so mean, also allows you to keep the rear bumper

heres mine i debumpered.....

In my opinion the front look ok, but the back just doesn't work for me especially with the mk 1 look youve given it. Also I wouldn't advertise keeping a child locked up inside your car, it leads to odd questions.

P.S Really im just jealous as its new and shiny, with no rust.

To be honest, I think that looks awesome. Love how you've managed to keep it looking retro. Are those 10"s it's sitting on?
