If I take my hearing aids out he just drones along nicely. The steering is obviously much lighter, the ride is more comfortable and there's no sign of the old tramlining or bumpsteer. The turning circle is tighter. Understeer is quite marked (although the roads are greasy after the first rain for weeks. Thanks
haha I won't. How is he to drive now? It's very very loudd aswell!
Tomorrow I'll get underneath and make a list of suspension mods. It's so long since I worked it all out I can't remember what's there. I'll post the suspension geometry figures too if I can read them. The Falkens are running at 30psi front & 26 back (more if loaded).
Huey has had a refill of Millers Classic Trans M 20/50 oil which is £22 as against £16 for Halfords Classic mineral oil. Paul has used it for years and puts Millers CTV 20W50 Comp Semi Synthetic Mini oil in his Clubman racer (in case anyone's interested).
Incidentally, Mini-jon, the rear light clusters are apparently correct for the year after all

Dad uses millers oil in his, runs a treat! Have you told Paul about the speed and rev counter? Because il tell him tomorrow when he picks me up if you want. And I'm sure he's been doing some tinkering in the engine, he's Bern fettling the car all the time to make it perfect! If I take my hearing aids out he just drones along nicely. ) Smoother power delivery than I remember (has Paul been tweaking?) and I have no idea how much the speedo is overestimating, plus the rev counter has packed up. The brakes are MUCH better, very smooth & progressive from cold and no fade. I think several commuters on the A38 were surprised at how quick he is, especially now he looks so innocent!

95L as it happens. Goodness me you people know a lot. I'm happy just to remember what day it is.If Huey's reg'd as a Mini 95 then those rear lights are correct, but if he's reg'd as a 850 Pickup or 1000 Pickup then he should have the older style ones.
Er, it's Friday today, isn't it?
