Hi again.
may be me being silly but how do you fit the oil cooler thermostat,
Because i thought youd fit it between the cooler and the block (is this right) but the thermostat has 4 connections on it so what are the leftover 2 for?
Thanks in adavance

If it only had 2 connections it would stop the oil reaching your engine when it's cold. One side goes in the line to the cooler and the other side in the return, the oil is diverted through the stat housing until it gets warm when the stat redirects it through the cooler.

ahhh i see!
thats me being silly. i thought you would just cut one of the hoses and fit it inbetween! so you use the two hoses supplied with the cooler and hook them up one side of the thermostat and then the hose from the block to the other side of the thermostat then the one that goes to the oil filter.think iv got it aha
