Hello!
Just thought I'd drop in and explore this forum.
Is there anybody else from Edinburgh here?.
I own a Clubman Estate which I use as a daily runner and have a City awaiting restoration.

Hi mate
welcome to TMF, hope we can all help you out sometime, and look forward to seeing some pictures of your mini soon...
What plans do you have for the city, or will it be standard

Steve, I totaly agree, the roads around the borders are great fun.
Here is Smoky.
And this is the one that got me started with Mini's, my first car whichh got me ready for the driving test a few years ago.
Rusty will be a completly standard Mini City as there aren't going to be that many left shortly as they are usualy used as a base for custom Mini's. Rusty will be an example of a standard Mini City as I love Rusty this way and Rusty used to get phonominal fuel economy too.
As soon as I have te funds I will get a nice new shell and recondition everything which will give me the most expensiive basic cheep Mini, It's not a practical idea restoring Rusty but Rusty is my Mini so I will go ahead with the restoration.

Hello.
I've not got that job done yet, will let you know once I've started.
I've got to chase up the insurance for the cash setlement too. I need to get a move on with that project but I want to install a tow-bar first as a line of protection so that I have less chance of needing to find another set of doors, Edinburgh is a crazy place to drive around with the amount of tail-gaiting that goes on although I supose that's the same in most city centers.
Cheers , I'll get some pics up once I'm done both here and on the CER.
There are a quite few CER'ers around here.
