Basically i have been scouring Ebay, Classifieds and Minispares for engines and cant really find any.

Minispare stocks a 1310CC for £730 but i think the insurance will be sky high lol. so i was looking around for a 1275 but cant find any :) unless im not putting in the right search setting on ebay?

any help is appreciated.

Cheers

1275, 1293, 1310 and 1330 will all cost the same to insure as they are all regular over bore sizes and can be justified as a repair rather than a tuning modification, This is infomation my insurance company gave me when i told them about reboring my engine to 1293

when i gave them the rest of the list though they were not as forgiving but i can tune up to 100bhp at the wheels for just £70 more a year than a stock 1275

lancaster, they really are great they insured my ex on a wood n picket 1275gt when she was 21 as a named driver on my policy i was 24 for just £320. you will have to call if you have any mods but im 26 now and my mini with a 100bhp motor and loads of brake and suspenion mods is about £260

my car is fully insured and not on the road just incase i do some thing stupied and burn the place down as i don't want to risk all that money, you can get off the road insurance for about £75 a year its well worth it.
