Right then.

It has come to the point where I need to decide on a colour, for both outside and inside.

But, it needs to be one that will sell best.

In a few months, end of summer, I am moving off from minis, and going into Land Rovers.

So, what is the most popular colour for a mini?

Black...?

At the risk of sounding rude, can we keep it on the subject
I know about body work, mot, tax, etc etc... i just want to know about colours

thanks guys

Scott

All depends on the rest of the car?

Mods work well with lairy colours, standard or subtle work well with solid colours?

Thanks

To be honest, I just need to make the car desirable.. "none personal"

Im thinking black, with standard archs, white wellers, and a black and blue interior (blue roll cage, seat belts etc)

Theres been a poll before, sure of it?

Just stick with a popular solid based colour based around its original factory colour? Pending any very slight mods people will know what they want to pay out for

Tahiti Blue seems to be one of the most popular recent colours, I seem to remember a poll, but cant remember the result.

What was the original colour on the V5? I personally don't like black minis, but its up to the buyers view i guess.

It's got to be red and white!! :P Bit like mine haha.
Well It's upto you, personally I love red Mini's ... that Thiati blue is very nice too, especially with the silver roof and silver bonnet stripes.
I don't like black much really, only because when you wash them .. they just look as dirty again! Especially when they get dusty in the summer (not like we get a summer round here anyway!) ... Also if someone scratches a black car it looks terrible.
I think that blue or red is the best option, thats my opinion anyway. ;D

I think Black is probably the most sensible color. That way whomever buys it can match their favorite color to the car....i.e. Red accents, or Blue accents etc....Black just goes with EVERYTHING! I have seen too many other colored Minis with Black arches and IMO Minis look weird with arches that are painted to match....except for Sportspack Minis. Black arches with a black Mini is a great combo. Probably be cheaper too.....to paint that is. Black is a budget color. Also black doesn't scratch any more than any other color. Give it a good wax and Black is VERY VERY shiny.
