well i have had a 1275 engine for a few months now and have decided to do another engine build whilst building my designer (maybe this could go in it one day) so my plans for it are.....

12g940 head
1:5 roller rockers
omega pistons
maybe a +60tho bore
reground crank
276 cam
garrett t3 turbo (i am collecting parts for this atm)
hif44 carburettor
metro turbo exhaust
maybe some drop gears (the box had a proffesional rebuild a few months before i had it, estimated around £600)
electronic ignition
escort rs turbo intercooler (think there is one hidden in the garage)

i am a novice to forced induction and performance so any advice and tips i would be gratefull for

The cam you have chosen may be a bit lairy for a turbo better a 266 avonbar phase 2 cam which i have heard is good. depents on wht the engine wil be used for. You also need to lower you compression ratio

youll be wanting low comp piston or a low comp head if you want to run any decent amount of boost.

also downgrade the cam you dont want lairy cams in a turbo ph2 is meant to be the danglies! but the kent 274 (injection cam) is also a good choice aparently.

and make sure that carb you found is a turbo specific carb as i think they are sealed.

and i would leave it at 1293 :genius:
