I'm in the process of changing my switches to the savage type switches. For the wiper one there are two wires (red w/light green tracer and brown w/light green tracer) that go to the wiper motor and a green wire which goes to the fuse box, I assume power. When I connect one of these wires to the switch it works just like it used to, constant wipe. (1971 car and switches on dash panel, no speed setting on switch just wipe and no auto park) However if i connect the other wire to the same terminal too (source pin) then the wipers rest for a second before wiping again, which they've never done before.
Is one of these wires actually redundant or should it be connected somewhere else on the switch?

Thanks

Andy
