Black Headlamp Rings ?

1: Rub the rings down and make sure you go back to steel.
2: Paint with a couple coats of etching primer and allow to dry.
3: Rub down again with wet and dry sand paper to ensure a smooth finish.
4: Paint with a few coats of your desired color, allow to dry and admire your work.
5: You could also add a few coats of lacquer and polish the rings if you want them to really shine.

too me thats sounds like the perfect idea, also i have found myself a set on ebayI'm sure someone will tell me if I'm wrong but this method should work for painting head light rings and last a long time if done well.

Theirs a company that sells them in black to got on land rovers but their the same size and will fit a mini. I cant remember where it is though. Sorry.
Dang it!!!! *Trail of Dead grabs onto Mini-jon and starts shaking the bejesus out of him* Rack that brain! I have been searching the net for these black LR rings to no avail.

LOL soz I have a colander brain. I only found out about them on here. Someone posted up a link not so long ago. I came so close to buying a pair as I thought I would want some in the future and of course sods law would mean I'd never find them again. I now it appears I cant find them any more. If anyone does have any luck let me know. I'm gonna buy a pair for the hell of it.

That's what I intend to do.... when I finally get round to it
Out of interest how much do you's lot reckon you'd be looking at to powdercoat the bumpers, grill and headlmp rings?
