Hi all

A bit of a random one. I'm a mechanical retard, but I like to look of the de-bumpering. Does anyone know anyone who does/can do this in the Manchester area?

I saw the lead loading(?) video that was posted in another thread, but didn't want to hi-jack it

Is this a common practiced thing? Also, I'm thinking of a paint job, so by my "retarded non-mechanical brain" - Do I need to
A, get it stripped down
B, get someone to lead load the bumper
C, get it painted

Thanks
Tom >_<

might this have been my thread?

as far as i am aware you remove the bumper as you would normally if you were going to do it with filler, then lead load the bumper in the crease, then spend the next WEEK filing it down :) once done then prime and paint

Thank everyone. I could just do with knowing if this is common practice for welders really? I don't fancy my chances

Although I bet I'll have a custom no-one else ever will >_<
