Do people still do "show plates" at shows now? I know one big company stopped doing them when the tighter regs came in (last year I think).
im sure i thought i saw one at bingley or was that just me imagining things?

For it to be a legally issued full numberplate, you do need to produce a V5 so they can keep record of your details for auditing purposes by the DVLA. It also has to have certain info printed on it since 2001.
Then again, who knows how long you've had those 'show plates', the ones that you forgot to take off after a show at the weekend

but you wont need a v5 because they are show plates, not number plates.
Yea but if you walk into a "reputable establishment" and say there only for show plates there not gona leave themselves liable on your good word! so odds are you wont get them.
if you find them plates that are black with white digits that come out please let me know where from thanks

Or any Mini with an older reg number, as I am sure most police dont know what year a particular mini is.
