The head light's are the one's that came on the car, the ballast's are a bit big, but should be able to hide them out of the way.

Got the rest of the suspension back from the powder coater's, can't find the other bump stop so only made up one side but i'm happy with the results.

L2B is two weeks Saturday, (Pharp) am getting on well but trying to do ten jobs at once so that nothing get's left till last minute, sorting out some burnt out wiring, will be fitting Metro 4 piston calliper's with vented disc's so been stripping them ready for the yellow power coat, took the head off the engine to check the bores and valves, no lip in the bore, no rust and can still see the X hatch hone, bit glazed but looks ok, the biggest worry i have is the fact i decided to strip the bulkhead
with nitromore's because i'd never been happy with the finish, i now need to get it prep'd by Tuesday but am at work all weekend. >_<

Well been very busy this last two week's... but didn't make L2B, Engine just would not start, mobile tuner (Big thanks to Paul) could not get it started either, seems a carb rebuild is needed, (about one of the only things i didn't get around to doing) congratulation to all that made it, would put some picture up of all the work i've done but keep getting an error message?

We had some server issues last week which has left us with a few problems,
Uploading pictures being one of them. This is being looked into at the moment.
In the meantime why not use and image hosting website such as photobucket.

Well there seems to be a problem since the server went down, so i best catch up with the rest of the world and use photobucket.

Well had a bit more tinkering time, not got the carb back yet, but found that the clutch master cylinder leaks, (down the pedal and onto the floor) will have to take that easy to get at pin out again.

Well it's been quite here. Don't know how far this project will get now as from 25th June i have no job due to redundancy's in the Railway, would like to think i can keep it, at least long enough to see it run as i am so close.

Well i'm over the shock of having no job, had loads of time to do stuff, but what with the footy and nice weather to sit in the garden with a beer and BBQ just not felt like doing anything, (England are out... so distraction over) was hoping to get the carbon Miglia arches on but it's a two man job and i want to tub the rear arches, but need to take out the petrol tank (to use the plasma cutter) and there's all kind's of odd's and sod's on the back seat. On the plus side...
Over hauled the clutch master cylinder.

A few finishing touches and should be ready for MOT. Bought an alloy rad before it went *melon* up with my job, so seeing as the thermostat gasket was leaking (cheap odd shape universal job) thought i best get round to fitting it.

Went to MITP, great to see some very nice Mini's there, has spurred me on to get the last few niggles sorted, no pic's but wiring seems sorted everything works, dash that I picked up at L2B in 2008 is in, few problem's with that as I had no instructions because I got it on the cheap didn't know that you don't use the original metal bracket but saw a demo at MITP and it went in easy when i knew what i was doing. Taking it to Sleaford Mini's tomorrow to hopefully get it started/dyno'd and MOT'd can't see anything it would fail on but we will see. Very happy  :)
