I thought it was time i started a thread on my mini.

i picked it up 2 weeks ago from a guy down the road from me for 600 quid, its had 3 owners me being the 3rd and the guy befor me only had it six months and it sat on his drive.

it had been locked up since 1993 with 25k and a full service history along with every recipt for and parts,

its a 1973 998 mini clubman

glad you all like it.

it needs a good polish and a clean on the inside but overall its pretty much spotless.

plans are, get rid of the shell in my garage first, then put this in there.

i have been collecting parts to rebuild my other shell so im going to put them all on here.

what i have sofar

1330m block pistons crank ect... unused but needs re-honing

rebuilt mg metro gearbox

rear subframe
re-con radius arms
brand new hilows

all of which have been powdercoated

brand new mini fins
brand new built up back plates
braided hoses
billet alloy rear sub/f mounts
re-con hubs with bearings
poly bushes where needed

early front subframe 4 bolt type(not powdercoated)
1.5 lower arms
h/d tie rods
minisport alloy 4 pots for 7.5 discs
drilled 7.5 discs
pads
cooper s drive flanges

all partsare brand new

set of five super slots with brand new tyres, wheels are like brand new in fact im sure they have never been on the raod

Looks great and a steal at £600. Just emailed the person who made the best offer of when it will be best to pick up the shell and will PM you when he says. Hopefully Saturday or Sunday. Don't see why it should be any later than that.
