MOT is planned for this Friday!!
insurance has been sorted out.
just got a few small jobs to do before the MOT,
1 - raise the rear suspension to give more clearance
2 - fix the battery down to stop it flying around
3 - try and adjust the headlights so they are in the correct position for aim.
can anyone give me any advice on how to do the headlamp aim? ive no idea what i should try to aim them at lol.

Take the headlamp rims off, put them in the passenger footwell and ask the MoT tester nicely to align them correctly during the test - if you get one who won't or wants to charge extra, find a new MoT station!
JR
Ill second you on that
At my work we do mots and we ajust them if its out free of charge and if say a bulbs out and its prity easy to change we put one in free of charge ect.... if washers are empty top it up with some water Because so many people turn up with no water in and it will fail on that such a silly test to be honest
The important rule's are more like guide lines and then the less important ones are the ones that are set in stone and you cant realy avoid failing it on if you get me.

I'm sorry to say that Dan passed away in the December of 2010. I was informed of this by a relative at the time.
He was a good friend of mine and is missed.
Ahhh very sorry to here that

His car was lovely, was hoping it was still around.
Do you know what happened to it?
