Hi, as I said in my first topic (headlining question) I bought my '92 British Open already disassembled and I noticed I have windowwasher pipes in the boot
but I don't think I have a rear window wiper???
Why is this? I also have some kind of washer bottle holder in the boot aswell.

Please enlighten me ...

Thnx

The later type minis had the washer bottle in the boot, not under the bonnet as was first designed, Minis did not have rear wipers fitted as standard

As you're a new user I'll ignore the swearing, but please don't do it, even with a * in place of a vowel.

The washer should be above the o/s wheel arch, with a standard pump and other connections.
I'm afraid I don't have a picture, but you can see it in this modified mini;

Hey, I did answer your question too... And was polite!
Thanks for understanding the request though, it's the 'family forum' thing...

That picture is not much help really! The washer bottle fits where that extra fuel tank has been fitted in the photo; why they put it there is beyond me, it's a bugger to fill.

if it helps - this is where it should live.......there should be extra bracketry in place to receive it adjacent to the brackets that hold and support the driver's side rear light :lol:

Roofless - that's an unusual set up, certinaly not the 'normal' one.
Kam's photo is the type I have always come across.
