hi my mini has a removable bonnet so has no bonnet catch. So what I want to do is have a chrome metal plate made to cover where the catch went could go all the way across and I want 1330cc mini etched into it. Hope this makes sense where would I get something like this made. (Ime in the Leicester area...)
If anyones done it let me see please. Ive posted a picture to show where I mean I think its called the slam panel the flat bit all the way across where the bonnet shuts to.

why not make one out of aluminum and polish it up, ill be making a similar thing for my mini, so could do you one as well at the same time, if you want, ally polishes up quite nice, then you can take it to timpsons or somewhere, they do engraving

edit: just realised you meant the whole panel, im only doing one to blank the catch holes

Hi mate ye I was thinking the whole panel I think it would look really neat as its the first thing you see when you remove the bonnet.

what about using something like door step covers. they would take some cutting, and ok, its not real metal, but could look good.
