bought them about a month ago from minispares west midlands along with other various items. Which have done the job spot on i need mention,

but the chrome hinges have actually started to peel off and now i can litterally see the copper underneath.
i noticed they were begining to look abit shabby last week so posted it on here asking people what i should do and if it was my fault. i did my reasearch on the net and all it i managed to find was to make sure you have gaskets between the hinges and the metal of the car (which i had) and that the salt used on the roads could be affecting it (although i highly doubt this as i was the car normally around twice a week (p.s i know im sad <_<))

i will try to take them back as soon as i can and ask why they have done this, just really looking for some advice or tips on if this has happened to other people and how i should go by explaining this to them?

Sam,

Take them back with a copy of the invoice, won't be an issue to exchange/credit/refund
