As some of you know, I crashed my mini on Sunday. It's not a bad crash, but has done a fair amount of damage to the cosmetics on the front of the car.
I've already had a set of numberplates made so that I can drive the car again, but I need new spotlights too as I broke all of them.
My curent set is a set of angel eye spotlights from Huddersfield Spares (cliky linky)
I need to replace them, but wondered which ones to get? I could just get another set of what I had, but perhaps there are better ones out there that don't cost the earth?
Advice please mini people?
Cheers
Tom

Speak to Martin / Debbie @ MRA...
They do these for £22.50 a pair!!

Or stainless ones for £36.

they still look as good as new and no signs of rust, you get what you pay for

fitted a set of cibie's to mine 20 years ago

Seen the price of Cibies, i'm not made of money

20 years? they'd outlive the rest of my car! hehehe

Edited to say: Scrap that actually, I just googled them and they're now £130 a pair with covers. That far exceeds the £28 I paid in 1998!!!!!

Those spotlights look like a viable option...
Will the fit in the standard MPi spotlight brackets? They're still on my car... Obviously my Rover spots fitted and the angel eye ones did aswell.
Cheers

Martin & Debbie at MRA are really busy - did you pm or email?
Failing that give them a bell, spoke to Debbie yesterday, and the order arrived today - fantastic service but they are flat out Tom

Proper chrome lamps (not painted plastic) and twice as bright as the modern jobs.
Got mine as a pair for £20.

Now they look mint. Have you got those wired up to come on with main beam? Or as foglights on their own switch?
