I just bought a fiesta off a nice old man who sed he had a load of bits off his old mini in his garage. so i went along for a wee peek and walked out with a complete front subframe with engine and brakes. it was only when i got it out the car i realised it had 7.9" disks and calipers.
I'd be willing to sell the hubs with calipers and disks (though disks are a bit rusty) along with driveshafts. the full lot.
how much should i advertise these for?
no point on keeping them for my clubby...it has 13's so would be stupid using 7.9 brakes.
7.9" Disk Brake Setup - Valuation Please :d

7.9, sounds like its the Fiesta conversion.
It seems a well thought of set up.
The problem is that the big players are now offering a 12 -10" conversion kit using new parts for @£250, this seems to de-valued the traditional 7.5 set up.
Why pay £300 for a set of Genuine(and knackered) Cooper brakes when for less money you can get a nice shiney new set?
I don't really know how much they usually go for and it is a "Budget" conversion as well, so I'd hazzard a guess at £100-£125ish(although don't hold me that)

I'll need to get out the steel rule...not sure if they're 7.5 or 7.9

A large hub nut and no 4 bolt flange fixing would make them 7.5 ?

deffinately 7.5"...just measured.
Disks are a bit rusty, but not scored atall so are diffinately useable.
what u think? £150?
