I need to remove the drive flange on the mini to fit longer wheel studs. The mini has drum brakes fitted. The tool below is described to work on the rear brakes. Can you use this tool on the front hub to remove the drive flange or is there another tool for the front?

You shouldnt need a puller, undo the driveshaft nut, remove drum and shoes then slide it off

I have removed the driveshaft nut and drum but it will not slide off, will removing the shoes make any difference?

I just experienced the same problem : sliding off it did not. On the other side it went perfectly.
I Ended up removing the swivel hub entirely and knocking it out with a tube and hammer.
Only now I have to figure out how to assembe the outer bearing as it has seperated.
