Looking really good, but is it aluminium inserts at the head stud treads
if so, you got to get rid of them before you drag the tread out of the block, like others have done with a morspeed conversion

Sorry 'Holt' but i'm not sure what you mean - the inserts that block the original oil ways, or what the head studs that I have installed, thread into?

I mean the 3 inserts that block the waterways at the back of the engine where the 3 middle head studs shall be mountet

Oh right, I'm guessing from the picture that it is aluminium, did not really take much notice during the build, I just assumed it was ok. Dragging the tread out of the block does not sound good to me
Is this only during tightening them up or actually when the engine is running?

if you read the build treads on efiminis you will find a few stories about the problem, i cant remember them all, but if you ask about it in your tread you might get pointet in the right direction, one of them are here http://www.efiminis....php?topic=324.0
