need an urgent valuation:

1275cc automatic engine and gearbox, on 41k genuine miles from a k reg (1992) austen mini. gearbox was rebuilt in september at the cost of £760 and has done 900 miles since. engine is complete, radiator, alternator, distributor etc. sorry no pictures but just a standard engine.

I have reciepts.

ur problem is there is a very limited market for auto engines.

if u are prepared to wait for the right buyer then I would think you might get something around the £350-£400 mark

if u need to sell urgently then i would say something like £200-£250

Does the gearbox come with a valid warranty, if so then I would say it's worth more than the above, especially for someone who has a 998cc auto and wants to upgrade..

IMO £500, but the gearbox MUST be warranted

Without that, you're looking at even less than £200.
