Has any one on here bought and fitted a digital speedo to their mini? If so, which ones would you recommend and where did you get them from??

ill check it out, dont think it'll be any good for me though...dont have a cigarette lighter haha!! basically ive got the mot coming up and need to get the dash sorted, not completely sure what i need in the way of 'warning' lights, e.g inidicators, hazzards and fog light, but i know the acewell speedos can come with an optional surround with these lights built in.

My one does a lot of extra jobs to radar etc.. you can take the lighter plug off and wire to any where. It does not need the amps to run it. even a stereo Link is fine. All updates are free for life a real bargain.Thy were on Top Gear Tests. The price is top value. They are Legal to.They mount anywhere in a full box of its own.

Its a good time to buy a smart box while they are Legal.Even a good Sat. Speedo is far better than a cars fitted one.I got stopped when young in Mini 1000 standard by K. Bear behind a tree with a jump out gun.I told him i was watching my speedo but it has classic old flap on the needle it was a 1974 he told me to replace it and show him on next stop so i did and the cable etc..He was a fair man.I use it mainly for the speedo reading as i can not afford a speed problem. We have cars and cameras humps etc.. everywhere in Solihull. We still have a few fair lanes over Earlswood areas.Never get out of secound round local town and the fuel costs.

The RPM wasn't set up properly then so that's why it's hopping all over the shop and revving to 9000rpm.. Oh if only I had the first D series Honda to do so :) :dontgetit:
