ive been trying to ignore some problems developing because i currently dont have the available funds to deal with them but i need to know if they are serious.....
knock around clutch when changing gear sometimes....
a sound of mice resonating through my steering column...
a slight wobble of the car some breaking harshly....
some rippling popping around the lower engine when not putting any force on the accelerator pedal or after high revs. (doesnt pop unless in gear, so not when rolling out of gear, suspected blowing exhaust?)

Wobbling of the car if braking harshly,
could be of many thing
If you had new brake pads fitted they could be wearing in
or the brake disk could be warped
orrrr suspension could be out of line and so could the wheel lining but i doubt its this one, probably just warped brake disks

Knocking when changing gear-- check the engine steady bushes.

You need to join a local mini/car club. There's usually some mechanically minded bods that will give you first hand advice on safety

The mice in the sterring column sounds like a pretty serious problem, I'd get some traps before they gnaw through any wires...
ps. wamo.org.uk is a good local site to you
most of those sound a pretty simple fix for anyone vaguely good with diy mechanics, the one to look at first is the braking but it's likely brake discs, wheel alignment or something fairly cheap and simple to sort.
