I did that once to. You can turn bend a thrust washer quite a bit with a puller and a length of scaffolding.I forgot to take mine out when i did mine, lol.

It's not budging... I've used two pullers now and stripped them both...

Sounds like there could be an issue with the threads in the flywheel if it keeps stripping bolts before you even get them tight!!
Can you have a look to see if the threads are ok - maybe even run a tap up them to clean them up?

if the threads are being stripped because of the force being applied to the puller the flywheel could be welded onto the crank, which is going to need cutting off, both crank and flywheel center are scrap.
You need to find out which bit is the problem causing the bolts to strip the threads. The botl threads on the Verto flywheel are a common metric thread so you should be able to get some decent 12.9 grade socket head bolts, perhaps the next size up, then drill and tap the flywheel center.
Ask yourself this, is it the bolt threads or the flywheel center threads that have been stripped?, answere that and you can then move forward

At least it's done and you've got a nice excuse to get a nice lightweight flywheel
How's the crank? Make sure you lap the centre boss on nicely when you get a new one
It'll come off a lot easier next time
I'd talked myself into a flywheel when it stripped three weeks ago! ha, havn't had a look at the crank yet, going to get on it after work tomorrow
