I enjoy boarding, despite being crap at it >_<
I've got a K2 spitfire wide 168cm which i've had for about 5 years.
When I get to the slopes its to my local La Molina (hosting the world snow board world cup this year)

I tried indoor boarding here in Germany a few months ago with some mates and quite frankly I was just a lunatic going too fast down the hill.

I went in Jan on a big organised trip. After being given ski boots that were too tight and skis to borrow that were way to advanced for a beginner, I switched to boarding (I wanted to board anyway but I got the other stuff for free for the week).

I loved it. Admittedly, Im not very good but it was awesome fun. Put the music on, chill out and just go. I was in St Johan and we had our lessons with Red White Red Ski school they were really good. Our instructor Blair - lunatic.

I'll be going again with a couple of mates in Decemeber and again on the same organised trip as before next January but for two weeks next time. Hopefully by then I should have my own board by then as well.

Oh and one of the guys I was on the trip with, his dad learnt to snowboard. At 60. That's pretty damn cool if you ask me.

I learned to snowboard there. It's alright, but last time i went, i remember the rules were crazy :) You weren't allowed to go straight down the hill, you had to weave from one side to the other. That was lame. Much better when i went boarding in the mountains in north California :w00t: super slippery snow, and pretty much no regulation. Just bomb down a black run as fast as you can ;)
