Hi i want to get a car alarm for my mini it is a 1990 mini mayfair it was maid before ECU's were put in.

The alarm i want has:

An alarm
An immobilizer
A remote engine start
Central locking (need central locking kit off ebay)

I was just wondering if the immobilizer and remote engine start will work or if i need an ECU for this i am pretty sure i dont but would just like to make sure, also if there are any other problems i might come across when trying to fit.

The alarm system should stand alone and not need the ECU. I would suggest a Thatcham approved system for insurance purposes.
