My 85 Mayfair and my ex's 84 Mayfair both only got the twin pod. So did they change in late 85?
Yes October 1985 both the Mini City E and Mini Mayfair got a few updates which also included the side/wing mounted indicators as standard. Oh and the pre-engaged starter motor which caused quite a stir at Howells of Cardiff (or so I was told when I bought a new Mayfair at the time).
