Removing Broken Ignition Barrel

(BOTH IGNITION BARRELS ARE ATTATCHED TO THE STEERING COLUMS STILL) i got my ignition barrel threw the post today it is attatched to the column, as is the old broken one, the screw as described in the haynes manual are special ones that are like nail headed, any advice on how to remove the bolts with screw threads, any advice appreciated, am i gonna have to drill them out and then put bolts threw them to attatch them again

Drift them round with a centre punch, not as hard as it sounds. If you have a Dremel type of thingy you could cut a slot for a screwdriver instead.
