i was just about ready to take my little beast for a respray but have now decided im going to try it myself. i have read several articles about roller painting on the forum so thought i would give it a go. for the cost of paint and an orbital sander its gota be worth trying. i have been on the rustoleum uk website, 2.5L of combi paint for around £25 the only concern i have is the front end of my mini is carbon fibre, will this be a problem using this specific type of metal paint? as im only sanding down to the priimer i would imagine it will be okay, but i would rather get some advice before i make a mess of it!!!! many thanks in advance.

i went on the uk website and sent them an email, and they had a contact number on there. they responded within a couple of hours, which was good. they said it would be fine as long as i didnt sand right down to the carbon fibre, but i thought i would check on here first just incase they were just trying to secure a sale!!! you know what some companies are like! in fact i watched a u tube video link from there site, a white camper van and a mention of a fibre glass roof!! that wasnt yours was it??
