Maybe not the right place for this but its a bit hard to classify, anyhoo...

My mini is always outside, because the garage is filled by: a triumph daytona a royal enfield meteor and a morris 1000 traveller. so obviously it needs to be protected from the rain and frost etc, at the minute i have just ben using a rubbish cover i got from Lidl or somewhere like that which is far too big so it has to be held in place by bugie cords. but yesterday i found that these bungie cords were doing the paintwork no favours so its time for an upgrade.

This is where i need your help . what are you guys and gals covering your minis with? i just need a few recommendations of ones that are really waterproof and snug fitting without being a ridiculous price. thanks for any help

I use the coverzone ones. I have a monsoon on Luna (used regularly) and a Stormforce on Doris (used less frequently)

Best thing i have seen on another thread was a small camping tent.The Women had a great idea.

Thats just what i wanted but at a price i cant afford Ill just have to save up some money, i was expecting them to be expensive anyway, and after all you get what you pay for right. thanks very much ms LunaMini

Still open to other suggestions though

As for the tent idea i dont think it would work for the simple reason that my mini is parked on my rather sloped drive and would just blow all over the place lol and probably damage the paint because of the poles hitting the bodywork

Ahh good old eBay lol, that seems like the best solution to me, get a really good quality one for less money

Yes the tent is great but fitting it up.Summers comming we all hope soon.Some tents cost less than a good cover and trap less.Room for air.Get a strong one that lasts.I keep my best car outside and with a slab. drive i can not also use the tent idea and the nobs next door would moan.

i have a feeling it will be just a standard car cover........size small

i like the one i got because it has special pods for the wing mirrors

Why buy a budget cover, spending on a decent one will save money in the long run surely, re rust repairs etc.

I use a Carcoon.
Quite expensive, but great at looking after your pride and joy!
