Is there a big difference between the metal one and plastic one? Other than obviously the material! (before anyone says it! ;))

I have a 1987 Mini City E
Which one do i need? :P

You have answered your own question. That is the only difference, which one you buy is up to you and your budget. They work and fit exactly the same, the plastic one was std fit after 1997. The only difference is the material the reservoir is made out of

I bought a plastic one off Minispares at Bingley, £34 , cheaper than the all metal type
Am very pleased with it...
